Greetings Families,

It is with enthusiasm and excitement I can share our journey continues moving from “Good to Great!”  Based on achievement data, student, parent/guardian, and staff input, we established our 2011-12 goals and instructional foci (http://www.muskegonorway.org/content/view/1015/891/) to support our mission of every student learning.  With a focus on standards-aligned, differentiated instruction; data-informed collaboration and accountability; and accelerated intervention your child’s teacher will facilitate learning at their identified instructional level and aligned to learning styles. I encourage you to ask your child’s teacher(s) at conferences (October 12 and 13) how he or she is using these high leverage practices to support your child’s learning.
