WCATY (Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth) Courses:

 Lake Denoon Middle School will serve as a site for WCATY classes for the second and fourth quarter.  WCATY has described the courses as follows: "These courses are designed for students who are self-motivated and directed, are in the 95th percentile or above in standardized tests, and have strong reading skills and strong connective and abstract thinking skills." 

 This class would be a replacement for your language arts/reading class, and the online and independent work would be completed during the student's languages arts/reading period.
